Following Jesus
The good news of the Gospel starts with a question.
What does God want?
Surprisingly, the answer is simple. God wants you!
God wants you to know who you are and why your life has so much value and worth to Him. He wants you to place your trust in Him so that you can be saved from eternal death and sin.
What shall we do?
In Acts 2:37-38, after hearing Peter preach the Gospel, the people asked an important question.
“Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Repentance
Repentance is the gateway to your relationship with God and being face-to-face with Him.
Confession
No one is sinless like Jesus. We confess we can't save ourselves and can only rely on what Jesus did for us.
Forgiveness
Jesus is the only means of forgiveness for our sins & our entrance back into God's family.
Free Gift
Salvation can't be lost by your mistakes or behavior. Trusting in what Jesus did for you is enough in God's eyes.
Reconciliation
Once we have permanent access to God's family as His children we rely on God's definition of who we are.
Discipleship
This looks like being with Jesus so you become like Him and then you can do what He is doing.
The result of faith is Salvation and Reconciliation
God wants you to know that you can be saved from sin and death by trusting Him. We receive salvation when we stop relying on ourselves and trust in what Christ has done for us. To become a follower or disciple of Jesus.
How do we respond?
Your response to God’s salvation means acknowledging that you now rely on Jesus Christ as your Savior and that he is now your King and you belong to his family. It isn’t a "magical" formula; it's about having faith (trust) in what Jesus did for you in His life, death, and resurrection. Jesus asks you to do more than make a decision. He asks you to leave your old life behind and to become like him—walk with Him daily.

The Prayer of Salvation
If you recognize that you are a sinner and need to be saved by Jesus, you can pray this prayer to God. We encourage you to pray the following prayer out loud.
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I ask for forgiveness of my sins. I turn from sin to you Jesus, the Messiah, Lord and Saviour. I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Your Son, Jesus, died for my sins that I might be forgiven. I believe that He rose again to give me eternal life. I repent of my sins and I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour.
Congratulations!
