Being with God through Prayer
Prayer was Jesus’s main way of connecting with His Father. It should be central for all who follow Him. In prayer, we experience our Father’s presence and help spread His Kingdom on earth. Prayer is about building a relationship and can be seen as talking with our Father. Praying like Jesus means staying connected to the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.
“Prayer is like love. Words pour at first. Then we are more silent and can communicate in monosyllables. In difficulties a gesture is enough, a word, or nothing at all—love is enough.”
The disciples wanted to know how to pray. Jesus’ response was to teach a pattern of prayer.
Our imaginations can be a powerful tool when used in prayer.
